Varsity

Wrestlers Well we did a decent job last year. We had two BVAL champions, AJ Cress and Ricky Castillo. Their names will be posted on the wall in the wrestling room. AJ took second in NCS and Ricky took fourth, both qualified for the California State tournament. Other wrestlers that went to NCS (North Coast Section) included Joseph Guerra, Eric Murdoch, Andy Anjari, Ivan Reyes, Kurtis Starnes, Lucas Hudson, and Lorenzo Cannon. Antioch placed 13th out of 85+ schools. In our league we won 3 dual meets out of 5. A winning season, and we're expected to do better this season. A number of Varsity Wrestlers participated in the Soph/Frosh State Tournament. Including Kyle Clark, Lukas Hudson, Jeremy Castillo, and Aaron Spivey. Kyle Clark placed 5th. An impressive placing for a freshman. And Lukas Hudson who placed 3rd as a Sophmore.
